Art Center at Night: Interaction Design

Arda Wigs Website Redesign

As part of Julian Scaff’s Interaction Design class, I redesigned the website for Arda Wigs, focusing on improving the user experience for cosplayers and wig enthusiasts. Through user research, including developing personas like Alice—a dedicated cosplayer—I identified key challenges such as unclear wig categories, overwhelming color options, inconsistent thumbnails, and a lack of educational resources.

The redesign featured a clean and minimal style inspired by character creation interfaces in video games, ensuring the content and products took center stage. Key improvements included a simplified navigation structure, an organized "Shop by Character" feature, consistent thumbnail sizes, and integrated tutorials on product pages.

The new design streamlined the wig selection process, empowering both novice and experienced users to find their perfect wig with confidence and ease. This project exemplified my ability to analyze user needs and translate them into intuitive, aesthetically pleasing digital solutions
