MTAC Convention 2020
I had the exciting opportunity to design the visual identity for the Music Teachers’ Association of California's 2020 annual conference in Los Angeles. Working with the convention’s theme “Collaborate, Create, Celebrate”, I explored creative possibilities that resulted in a engaging design celebrating musical collaboration in Los Angeles. Deliverables included a convention program cover, event banners, and website graphics, all crafted to reflect the spirit of music education and create a polished, memorable experience for attendees. The convention design unfortunately did not get to experience its full potential as the event was ultimately cancelled due to the pandemic.

CREATIVE DIRECTION
To create the visual concept for for “Collaborate, Create, Celebrate”, I researched fun festive posters with clear silhouettes and Los Angeles symbolism.
I created designs that featured the coming together of instruments, musicians, and people. I was particularly fond of an unused concept that imagined the Los Angeles highways as music bars.
